To underscore the literalness of this passage, the LORD Himself speaks to Ezekiel in 43:6 saying,

“This is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever.”

That literal statement alone is strong support that we do not live in the Kingdom today. Notice the present tense, “where I dwell”?  Can one go to Jerusalem today and visit Jesus sitting on His throne in Jerusalem? Of course not.  That is because the Kingdom is future and Jesus is not literally sitting on His throne, His feet are not literally touching the ground… One can see how irresponsible it is to teach that we are living in the Kingdom now.  The Kingdom is a future, literal reality.  Kingdom Now talk is permeating the Church and it needs to be corrected.
